You will need to use purple or black chips if you are trying to replicate a high-stakes game like $10/$20 or $5/$10. If you do not have black or purple chips, you can use white to represent $100 and red for $500.
HOW MANY CHIPS DO YOU NEED?
In general, each player should have at least 50 chips to get started.
A standard set of chips usually includes 300 pieces. There are four color options available: 100 pieces in white, 50 for each other color, and 50 for each other. This is enough to allow 5-6 players to comfortably play with the set.
It is best to buy a 500-piece Poker set if you have more than six players.
