I have been depressed for this whole year and last because i was planning to look for a girlfriend but not able due to covid. Our company allowed us to work remotely and i havent met anyone since.
Tbh i am socially awkward and no girls seem to like me anyway. I tried asking girls out before but got rejected everytime. I spent most of my 20s building a stable career and neglected the social part of my life and i just got a well paying job out of sheer luck ( i was headhunted, recruiter found my number from god knows where and called me out of the blue) in 2019 right before covid began. I have been following the idea of get a stable career first, then worry about getting a girlfriend. But covid messed up everything , even if they lift the lockdown, i am still pretty cautious about getting too close to too many people.
Was checking my facebook just now and found out a friend of mine is getting married.
i became angry and depressed and started rage gambling. Just lost £900 betting on the german league.  Its not really a lot of money but i am still feeling like ****
Feeling awful.
Please feel free to laugh at my misery. I deserve it.
