I am having similar connection speed issues as described in this post. I have run the speed test with and without the proxy (I am connecting from Singapore).
Without proxy (to London server)
dl: 3.79mbps
ul: 0.64mbps
ping: 541
With proxy (to London server)
dl: 0.48mbps
ul: 0.21mbps
ping: 782
Can anything be done to increase the speed through the proxy?
