Hi, I'm new to this service and the forum. While I see there is a similar subject I've tried to make this question very specific.
The premium service is working great for the BBC iPlayer but when I tried to register for http://www.tvcatchup.com/ and I just get a message that the IP address I am using has been banned.
I don't think that's anything to do with Socks as it is just a TV streaming site...?
Is there a way to solve this or is it simply that that particular web site has decided to ban the specific IP that happened to have been allocated? If that is so then theoretically I guess I made a mistake paying for the 3 month package as I could potentially be better of signing up short term only so I can periodically change IP addresses as if I understand correctly I cannot change the IP?
Just looking for some guidance...
