HI I would like to watch bbc Iplayer
I put a UK proxy and I still get the message "UK Viewers only"
I am in Brazil by the way
Any Help ?

Dear Allex,
you should make sure the proxy you are using is truly anonymous. Some proxies do not hide the information regarding their users that is why BBC do not allow you to watch the videos. |

| Up until about a week ago, I had no problem using the GB proxies here to access Iplayer and I always used socks. Socks is just another type of proxy and in your LAN settings under 'internet options' you simply fill in the ip and port number under the 'socks' heading. Now none of them work for me on my computer, on other computers or on other networks so not sure where the problem is. When I use transparent servers or what have you through CDN it says that I am out of the UK and iplayer doesn't work so.....hopefully socks works for you! I find them the simplest to use! |

Allex, i live in spain and i always use this uk proxy
155.136.224.10:80
i use it to view bbciplayer and always runs!.

You can watch the programs from the BBCiplayer if you get reliable and fast proxy in UK. Since open proxies found on many proxy web sites are not performing well I suggest you get your personal UK proxy. Send me an email for details: bbciplayer@gmx.com |
